Robert Hand brings a higher level of service to clients, with
over twenty years of experience helping individuals and companies
make better investment decisions.
Education
Robert earned a Masters Degree in Finance in 1994 from Loyola
University in New Orleans, after graduating with a business
degree in 1977. He earned his MBA while also working full
time. He is one of only 600 Investment Management Consultants
in the Southeast, with special training in helping corporations
and individuals manage their retirement plan assets. He also
has advanced training from the Donald T. Regan School of Investments
in 1982.
Character
A higher level of service to clients is a core business
focus, and Robert has been recognized for his efforts
as early as 1994, when he was selected one of “America’s
Top 100 New Style Brokers” from among 5,000 candidates
by Financial Planning magazine. He
is also a nationally published author of investment articles,
having written for magazines such as Stocks and Commodities,
Chief Executive Officer, Registered Representative, and
Personal Financial Planning.
He is a leader in the community, having served as president
of the New Orleans Chapter of the International Association
for Financial Planning-an international association
of professionals that organizes one of the largest free
educational investment seminars in America, called MoneyWatch
Live. He has also served as president of the New Orleans
Chapter of the MSU Alumni Association, and founded the
Upper Hurstville Association which fights neighborhood
crime. Robert has also helped investors resolve financial
disputes, having served as an industry panel member
of the FINRA Board of Arbitrators.
